Den här delen av standard SS-EN ISO 13849 fastställer säkerhetskrav för samt vägledning kring konstruktion och integrering av säkerhetsrelaterade delar i styrsystem, SRP/CS, (Safety-Related Part of a Control System), inklusive utveckling av programvara. In May this year, ISO TC199 launched an online sur­vey ask­ing for input from machine build­ers and any­one else that uses ISO 13849 or IEC 62061. The sur­vey probes ways that the stand­ards are used , the kinds of prob­lems they encounter when try­ing to apply them, and how the use of these stand­ards affects their products and busi­nesses. ISO/TR 23849 gives guidance on the application of this part of ISO 13849 and IEC 62061 in the design of safety-related control systems for machinery. As with ISO/TR 23849 , ISO/TR 22100-2 has been added to the list of normative references given in Clause 2 ? the latter owing to its importance for an understanding of the relationship between this part of ISO 13849 and ISO 12100. Die EN ISO 13849-1 stellt auch spezielle Anforderungen für SRP/CS mit programmierbaren elektronischen Systemen bereit. Die bisherige Tabelle 1 der Norm „Empfohlene Anwendung der IEC 62061 und ISO 13849-1“ ist durch eine Referenz auf den in der Zwischenzeit erstellten Technischen Report DIN ISO/TR 23849 [1] ersetzt.
